In an interview with Priya Chowdhary Nuthalapti on 21 September 2026, Rashmika explained that she has always embraced the various languages and accents she encounters in her work, treating them as part of her own repertoire.
When asked about the feedback she receives on her accent and pronunciation, Rashmika appeared relaxed, emphasizing that the key is whether audiences can understand her. She noted that she does not worry about the nuances between different Telugu dialects and that her primary focus remains on connecting with viewers through clear communication.
Rashmika, a Kodava by heritage, speaks Kodava Takk as her mother tongue. With no major film industry centered on her native language, she has comfortably transitioned across multiple regional cinemas. Her journey into Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi films unfolded naturally, driven by fan encouragement and her own willingness to adapt.
While acknowledging that she may not be flawless in every language, Rashmika stresses the importance of making an effort to speak the audience’s language. She described herself as a “jack of all trades” and highlighted that her responsibility as an actor is to deliver a strong performance and help tell a compelling story, rather than engage in unnecessary debates about accent.
