Nani’s ‘The Paradise’ sets a new release benchmark; early booking strategy pays off

Telugu superstar Nani’s forthcoming film The Paradise is generating buzz among fans, but it is the release strategy that is drawing the industry’s attention. The makers have sidestepped the last‑minute hiccups that have plagued many big releases by securing government clearance for ticket price hikes well before opening bookings.

Mythri Movie Makers, the distributor handling the Nizam region, has a track record of managing high‑profile releases this year. In previous projects, advance bookings were often postponed until the final government order arrived, leaving little time for audiences to secure seats. For The Paradise, the team opened bookings on Sunday after receiving the official ticket‑price approval, giving fans ample opportunity to book before the film’s debut.

Early planning has already translated into robust advance sales in the Nizam market. The film’s release calendar includes a paid premiere on the night of September 23, followed by a wide theatrical launch on September 24. Mythri Movie Makers reportedly paid around ₹35 crore for the Nizam theatrical rights, a significant investment that underscores the need for a strong box‑office run.

Beyond the star power of Nani, The Paradise serves as a case study for producers and distributors. By obtaining necessary permissions early, setting ticket prices in advance, and timing the opening of bookings strategically, the team has built momentum that could help the film recover its hefty investment and achieve commercial success.
