According to insiders, the film project is still in its early exploratory phase, but the creative team is actively considering how to adapt the story for cinema.
The source confirmed that the idea of a film has been around for a while, and that the team is “toying with the concept” at present. While the project is under consideration, the focus remains on the upcoming fourth season of the series. The storyboard for season four has already been drafted, and production is expected to start in early 2027 if everything proceeds as planned.
Raj & DK, the creators of the series, and the main cast – Manoj Bajpayee, Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani and Sharad Kelkar – have built The Family Man into one of India’s most popular streaming franchises. Several characters have garnered a dedicated fan base, which could bode well for a potential film adaptation.
Despite the excitement, the team has clarified that the film’s concept is not inspired by the recent expansion of the crime drama Mirzapur into cinema. The source also noted that a response from Raj Nidimoru was not received before the article went to press.
