The couple announced the registration on Wednesday with a joint Instagram post that read, “Trial period: OVER. No returns, no exchanges, no take‑backs! The wedding festivities kicked off with a lavish beach party in Goa on January 12, 2025, attended by almost the entire Kapoor clan. Aadar’s mother Rima, his brother Armaan, aunt Neetu Kapoor, cousin Karisma Kapoor and niece Samaira Kapoor were all present, with Neetu and Karisma sharing photos of the event on their Instagram accounts. Samaira, 19, captured attention in a white flowing gown, while Alekha dazzled in a matching white dress and Aadar complemented her in a grey suit.
Earlier this year, the pair had announced their engagement in September 2024 after Aadar proposed to Alekha by the sea. They made their relationship public in November 2023, following a roka ceremony that same month. Aadar’s past relationship with actress Tara Sutaria ended in November 2023, after which he focused on his new romance.
The official registration took place months after the celebrations, marking the final legal step in what has been a highly publicized romance.
