Cinema VinesOn Wednesday, pop icon Taylor Swift announced a deluxe edition of her twelfth studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore.” The expanded version, slated for release on Friday, will add four new tracks that the singer wrote after the record’s historic debut last October.
Swift revealed the news in an Instagram post, noting that every one of the original twelve songs had entered the top twelve of the Billboard Hot 100. She added that the album’s debut was the biggest in modern music history based on sales and streams, prompting her to travel to Sweden with collaborators Max and Shellback to write additional material.
The new edition will feature the single “Patient Zero,” along with “Cleveland!,” “Pink Clouding,” and “Babylon.” Both Max Martin and Shellback, long‑time songwriters for Swift, contributed to the fresh tracks.
The announcement came after Swift’s appearance in a comedy sketch at this month’s Emmy Awards, where she teased new music. She also highlighted the success of the lead single “Fate of Ophelia,” which amassed 92.5 million official U.S. streams in its opening week, according to Luminate.
