The figure represents a sharp decline of ₹2,490 crore from the ₹12,490 crore valuation that appeared in the 2025 edition, marking a significant drop in just one year. Despite the fall, SRK still outpaces other top earners such as Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan.
The actor’s fortune is diversified across several ventures. In addition to his film earnings, SRK owns the production house Red Chillies Entertainment and holds a stake in the Kolkata Knight Riders through Knight Riders Sports. The Hurun Global Rich List, released earlier this year, placed his wealth at ₹10,800 crore, slightly higher than the national estimate.
Amitabh Bachchan takes the second spot on the list with a net worth of ₹4,000 crore, a substantial rise from the ₹1,630 crore figure reported in 2025. His wealth is driven by a long film career, real‑estate holdings and investments managed through his family office. Salman Khan follows with an estimated ₹3,000 crore, while Hrithik Roshan is valued at ₹2,500 crore, up from ₹2,160 crore last year; his fitness brand HRX continues to contribute to his earnings.
The 2026 list also notes the absence of Juhi Chawla and Karan Johar, who were featured in the previous edition with net worths of ₹7,790 crore and ₹1,880 crore respectively. The rankings now include business figures such as Naresh Malhotra (₹16,000 crore), Bhushan Kumar, Ronnie Screwvala and Kalanithi Maran, all prominent producers in the film industry.
While his wealth has slipped, Shah Rukh Khan is preparing for the release of his new film King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The movie, slated for a December 24 theatrical debut, features an ensemble cast that includes Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Suhana Khan, Raghav Juyal, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi and Jackie Shroff. The release will compete with Hollywood blockbusters such as Avengers: Doomsday and Dune Part 3.
