The Malayalam investigative crime thriller Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar has crossed the ₹40 crore threshold in worldwide gross, according to box‑office tracker Jerin Georgekutty. The film, which opened in theatres on 11 September 2026, is now in its 17th day of theatrical release, having completed 16 days as of Saturday 26 September.
Georgekutty’s latest update, posted on X on Sunday 27 September, reports that the film earned roughly ₹97 lakh in Kerala on Day 16, bringing the state’s cumulative gross to about ₹21.06 crore. The worldwide total has also surpassed ₹40 crore, a milestone that comes as the movie enters its third Sunday in cinemas.
Directed by Shahad, the story follows Aleena, played by Parvathy Thiruvothu, who joins the police force after her husband’s death. Her new role leads her into a complex investigation that tests her sense of justice, loyalty and personal convictions. The film’s ensemble includes Vijayaraghavan, Mathew Thomas, Sidharth Bharathan, Unnimaya Prasad, Azees Nedumangadu and Vinay Forrt, among others.
Writing credits belong to PS Subramanian and Vijesh Thottingal, with music composed by Mujeeb Majeed. The cinematography is handled by Roby Varghese Raj and editing by Chaman Chakko. Production was overseen by Arjun Selva under the banner 11 Icons, and the film is distributed by Central Pictures.
