Cinema VinesBollywood Hungama reports that Almighty Motion Picture is preparing for a second season of the supernatural thriller Bhay – A Gaurav Tiwari Mystery. The new series is slated to begin filming in mid‑January 2027, with a possible late‑2027 release if the schedule remains on track.
In the first season, which premiered in 2025, Karan Tacker starred as paranormal investigator Gaurav Tiwari. Produced by Prabhleen Sandhu and directed by Robbie Grewal, the show was written by Arshad Sayed and focused on Tiwari’s investigations of unexplained incidents rather than relying on conventional jump‑scares.
Sources close to the project say that the makers plan to expand the franchise’s universe, delving into new mysteries and investigations. While it is unclear whether the storyline will pick up directly from the end of season one or introduce a fresh case, the cast list remains undisclosed for now.
According to insiders, Karan Tacker is expected to reprise his role as Gaurav Tiwari, continuing to anchor the series. The actor’s growing presence in OTT productions—many of which have returned for additional seasons—adds weight to the potential renewal.
