Siwet Tomar ousted after brawl with Shehzad Poonawalla; Reality show bans physical violence

In a dramatic turn of events on the second season of the reality competition Rise and Fall, contestant Siwet Tomar was ejected from the show after a physical altercation with fellow competitor Shehzad Poonawalla. The clash erupted during the third episode, when tensions that had been simmering between the two escalated into a fight that saw Siwet grab Shehzad by the neck and push him down, leaving the latter injured and his clothing ripped.

The incident took place inside the Tower, the central location of the show where all contestants live and compete. The Tower’s rules strictly prohibit any form of physical violence, and the production team acted swiftly, removing Siwet from the competition for violating these regulations. The decision was announced after the confrontation, and Siwet’s removal was met with strong reactions from other participants.

Swara Bhasker and Karan Patel, both of whom had previously expressed frustration with the situation, walked out of the Tower in protest of the decision, citing that Shehzad’s actions and provocations had also contributed to the brawl. Their walkout highlighted the growing discord among the contestants and the mounting pressure on the show’s leadership to enforce its code of conduct.

The episode had already been fraught with strategic moves. Contestants in the Basement were debating potential targets while the Rulers in the Penthouse plotted their next moves. The introduction of the “Ultimate Ruler” race added a new layer of competition, with the winner gaining decision‑making powers in the Tower and immunity from that week’s elimination.

During a voting session, Siwet was repeatedly identified as the weakest decision‑maker by other contestants, and he was consequently barred from participating in the Ultimate Ruler race. He was forced to name the contestant he deemed weakest, selecting Shehzad. In turn, Shehzad chose Karan, who chose Swara Bhasker, and the chain of selections eventually led to a trio of contenders—Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Tej Pratap Yadav, and Irina Rudakova—competing for the Ultimate Ruler title.

Siwet’s removal has already shifted the dynamics within the Tower. At the episode’s conclusion, the remaining contestants—Tej Pratap Yadav, Shehzad, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Irina, and Raj—were left in the Penthouse, while the cast that had walked out, including Swara and Karan, exited the Tower. The show’s producers have reiterated that physical violence will not be tolerated, underscoring the importance of maintaining a safe environment for all participants.
