Akshay Kumar is set to team up once again with director Sajid Khan for a fresh, full‑on comedy that has now attracted a star‑packed cast. In addition to Kumar, the film will feature R Madhavan, Disha Patani and Shriya Saran, all of whom have signed on to play the romantic leads in a story that will revolve around middle‑aged men and follow a classic comedy‑of‑errors format.
R Madhavan will be reuniting with Kumar after their last collaboration in the courtroom drama Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh (2025). While the pair played rivals in that film, they will now explore the comedy genre together, a pairing that producers expect to be a key selling point for the project.
Production, which is being handled by Ektaa R Kapoor, is planned on a large scale with an extensive shooting schedule. The makers have slated the London portion of the shoot to begin by the end of 2026 or early 2027, a move that will help them mount the comedy on a bigger canvas.
Kumar is expected to start work on the film after finishing his role in Kanishk Varma’s alien survival thriller Samuk. The comedy is slated to be shot in a start‑to‑finish schedule, allowing the team to maintain momentum once filming commences.
For Sajid Khan, this is another reunion with Akshay Kumar, following their earlier collaborations on Heyy Babyy, Housefull and Housefull 2. Khan will first wrap up his current project, Hero Ki Horrorine, starring Yashvardhan Ahuja and Nitanshi Goel, before moving on to the untitled comedy.
With the addition of Madhavan, Patani and Saran, the film now boasts a multi‑star ensemble that promises a blend of humor, romance and high‑energy performances, positioning it as a major upcoming release for 2026 and early 2027.
