In a high‑profile real‑estate move, Bollywood star Anushka Sharma and her parents have jointly invested a staggering 25.8 crore rupees in two luxury apartments at Godrej Skyshore, a premium under‑construction project on Yari Road in Mumbai’s Versova district. The transaction, registered on 8 July 2026, saw Sharma acquire a 2,153.7‑sq‑ft unit on the 24th floor of Tower A for 14.9 crore rupees, while her parents, Ashima and Ajay Kumar Sharma, secured a 1,577‑sq‑ft apartment for 10.91 crore rupees.
Both units boast spacious carpet areas—approximately 2,026 sq ft for Sharma’s apartment and 1,477.8 sq ft for her parents’—and include balcony and terrace spaces of 128 sq ft and 99.2 sq ft respectively. Each property comes with covered basement parking: Sharma’s home includes three bays, whereas her parents’ apartment features two. The deals also involved substantial stamp duty payments of 74.48 lakhs and 65.45 lakhs.
Godrej Properties, the developer behind the project, has set possession dates for both apartments to be on or before 30 June 2031, contingent on construction milestones. The price per square foot, calculated using the carpet area, sits around 73,600 rupees for Sharma’s unit and 73,500–74,000 rupees for her parents’ apartment.
With a combined total area of roughly 3,731 sq ft and five covered parking spaces, the purchase underscores the growing trend of celebrities investing in high‑end Mumbai real estate. The Godrej Skyshore development remains under construction, promising a luxurious living experience in one of the city’s most sought‑after neighbourhoods.
