Ranbir Kapoor to front Mantra Group’s new growth push; actor stars in brand film

Ranbir Kapoor has been named the new brand ambassador for Pune‑based real‑estate developer Mantra Group, a move that signals the company’s push into a broader expansion across residential, commercial and retail markets. The Bollywood star will front a brand film featuring Managing Director Rohit Gupta, underscoring the partnership’s aim to strengthen the group’s presence in India and abroad.

Founded in 2007, Mantra Group began as a first‑generation entrepreneurial venture in Pune and has since grown into a multi‑segment real‑estate conglomerate. While the city remains a core market, the company’s portfolio now spans luxury residential projects, large‑format developments in Mumbai and branded residences in partnership with luxury watchmaker Jacob & Co. The group also collaborates with designers such as Manish Malhotra for its Burgundy luxury vertical and with Ganti Associates on architectural design.

Both Kapoor and Mantra share a similar timeline, having launched their respective journeys in 2007. Rohit Gupta explained that the actor’s varied film roles mirror the group’s diversification across markets, formats and design. “When we started Mantra in 2007, we focused on building trust in Pune,” Gupta said. “Today we have expanded into new markets, entered new categories and forged relationships with recognised names in luxury, design and lifestyle. Ranbir comes at a time when the brand needs a personality who can represent this evolution.”

Kapoor expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, noting that Mantra’s evolution and ambition to grow into new markets resonated with him. “What appealed to me about Mantra is that it has built its journey over time, but has also continued to evolve,” he said. “There is a clear ambition to grow, explore new markets and think differently about the spaces and experiences it creates.”

The collaboration is expected to propel Mantra Group into its next phase, with several milestones on the horizon as it leverages Kapoor’s star power to showcase its expanding portfolio and design collaborations.
