Malayalam crime drama "Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar" has just become available on Netflix, arriving on the streaming platform on October 9, 2026, less than a month after its theatrical release on September 11, 2026. The film, produced by Arjun Selva under 11 Icons Film Productions, was directed by Shahad Nilambur and features a screenplay by P. S. Subramanian and Vijesh Thottingal.
At the centre of the story is Parvathy Thiruvothu, who plays Aleena Abraham, a police officer and single mother who joined the force after the tragic death of her husband in a sting operation. The narrative follows Aleena as she balances her demanding job with her responsibilities at home, while forming close bonds with fellow officers Sreenath, Dasan and Divya. A tense encounter with a suspicious man at the station sets off a chain of events that draws the attention of the Crime Branch, led by Harris Meeran, who begins a thorough investigation.
The cast is bolstered by Mathew Thomas, Unnimaya Prasad and Sidharth Bharathan in prominent roles, with supporting performances from Vijayaraghavan, Vinay Forrt, Azees Nedumangadu, Radhakrishnan Parthiban, Praveen, Balaji Sharma and Vrinda Menon.
