Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has just added a new luxury vehicle to his collection, taking delivery of the BMW i7 50 xDrive, the all‑electric version of the German automaker’s flagship 7 Series sedan. The ex‑showroom price of the car is Rs. 1.95 crore, making it a significant addition to the star’s already impressive automobile lineup.
The purchase comes after Ranveer was named BMW India’s brand ambassador and showcased the company’s latest 7 Series range at a launch event in New Delhi last September. His new i7 therefore carries a personal touch, as he now owns one of the brand’s flagship electric offerings.
The BMW i7 50 xDrive M Sport blends the presence and comfort expected from a luxury flagship sedan with the advantages of a fully electric powertrain. It delivers 455 hp and 600 Nm of torque, with a claimed 0‑100 km/h acceleration of 5.5 seconds. The vehicle houses a 112.5 kWh battery pack and is rated for up to 728 km on the WLTP cycle.
Inside, the i7 emphasizes passenger comfort and cutting‑edge technology. Features include a large rear‑seat entertainment screen, a premium Bowers & Wilkins sound system, executive lounge seating, and an upgraded infotainment setup. The car is assembled locally at BMW Group’s Chennai facility, making India the only country outside Germany to produce the electric flagship.
For Ranveer, whose larger‑than‑life personality often reflects in his car choices, the i7 represents a move toward electric luxury without sacrificing performance or road presence. With its imposing design, tech‑rich cabin, and all‑electric credentials, the BMW fits seamlessly into the actor’s growing collection of high‑end vehicles.
