Cinema VinesPhars Films has secured the overseas theatrical distribution rights for Emraan Hashmi’s upcoming action‑romance, Gunmaaster G9, ahead of its worldwide release on 27 November 2026. The deal, whose financial terms remain undisclosed, positions the Mumbai‑based production for a global rollout that will complement the all‑India distribution already handled by PEN Marudhar.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the acquisition on social media, writing, “PHARS FILM ACQUIRES OVERSEAS THEATRICAL DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS OF ‘GUNMAASTER G9’… #PharsFilm, one of the leading names in overseas distribution, has acquired the overseas theatrical distribution rights of #GunmaasterG9, starring #EmraanHashmi.” Adarsh’s post highlighted Phars Films’ established presence in international markets, particularly the Middle East, and underscored the strategic partnership that will bring Gunmaaster G9 to cinemas outside India.
Directed by Aditya Datt, the film reunites Hashmi with composer‑singer Himesh Reshammiya and actress Genelia Deshmukh, following their earlier collaboration in 2005. The cast also includes Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Singh. Production is led by Deepak Mukut, Sangeeta Ahir and Hunar Mukut, with co‑producer Shirish Vallicha, and the project is presented by Soham Rockstar Entertainment P Ltd. Gunmaaster G9 is an SRE Studio LLP production that promises a blend of action, romance and music.
Gunmaaster G9’s promotional campaign has already generated buzz, with the release of a teaser and the first song, “Afsaana Banaaya Aapne,” featuring Hashmi and Reshammiya. The track adds a musical dimension to the film’s marketing push, complementing the action‑romantic storyline that has attracted attention from fans and industry insiders alike.
