Malayalam comedy ‘It’s a Medical Miracle’ lands on streaming; ManoramaMAX debuts Oct 15

The Malayalam supernatural comedy "It's a Medical Miracle" is set to hit home screens on October 15, 2026 after a brief theatrical stint that began on September 18. The film, directed by Shyamin Gireesh, follows a young man who awakens from a declared brain‑dead state with the uncanny ability to hear everything around him. His quest to locate the nurse whose voice he remembers takes him into a tangled web of masks, memories and revenge, where the sounds he hears could either guide him to answers or lead him into danger.

Starring Sangeeth Prathap, Sharaf U Dheen and Akhila Bhargavan in the lead roles, the movie was produced by Dr. Paul Varghese and Sujith J Nair. Nileen Sandra penned the story, screenplay and dialogues, while Akhil Xavier handled cinematography and Rakesh Cherumadam edited the film. Mujeeb Majeed supplied the music and original score, and the technical crew included art director Appunni Sajan, sound designer Nixon George and colourist Shanmukha Pandian. Makeup was overseen by Ronex Xavier and costumes by Aarathy Gopal, with Vishnu Dev and Ajith Jose acting as chief associate directors and Manoj Poonkunnam as production controller.

Visual effects were produced by Promice, and action sequences were choreographed by Sravan Sathya and Mahesh Mathew. The digital intermediate work was handled by Indian Cinema Company, while overseas rights were managed by The Plot Pictures. Obscura Entertainments took charge of marketing, with Sabari serving as the public relations officer. Think Music is the audio label attached to the film.

The movie will debut on ManoramaMAX on October 15, 2026, giving Indian audiences an opportunity to stream the film online. International viewers can watch the same date on Simply South, which will release the film worldwide outside India. The digital premiere comes less than a month after the film’s theatrical release, offering fans a quick transition from cinema to home viewing.
