In the bustling streets of Mumbai, where couples are glued to their phones yet struggle to carve out private moments, Landmarc Entertainment’s latest offering promises a fresh take on romance. Kiss Ka Kissa, a Hindi short film slated for release on 22 October 2026, follows the everyday love story of real‑life couple Priyanshu Painyuli and Vandana Joshi. The film, written and directed by Ashish Sharma in his fiction debut, explores how a simple kiss can turn into an adventure when privacy is scarce.
Producer‑filmmaker Vidhi Kasliwal, who has worked with Rajshri Productions and made her directorial debut with Isi Life Mein, says the project reflects her ongoing interest in human emotions. “What drew me to Kiss Ka Kissa was its simplicity,” she explains. “We often associate romance with grand gestures, but sometimes the smallest moments carry the deepest emotions.” Kasliwal notes that the film “celebrates spontaneity in love and the small moments that bring two people closer.”
Sharma, whose career has spanned advertising films, music videos and branded storytelling, says he wanted the short to capture “the little romantic dreams we carry from our younger days” and to deliver a “simple, feel‑good story.” He describes the narrative as set against Mumbai’s chaos, where “even the simplest romantic gesture can become an adventure when privacy is a luxury.” The film aims to let humor arise naturally from everyday situations, celebrating love, youthful innocence and life’s delightful unpredictability.
Produced under Landmarc Films, the project features Vidhi Kasliwal as producer and creative director, with Aarti Bagdi serving as creative producer. The short’s release date of 22 October 2026 has been announced, and the team hopes it will leave audiences smiling and perhaps remembering a little more about the simple moments that shape their own romantic journeys.
