Veteran actor Manoj Bajpayee has voiced alarm after a shooting incident that targeted Tiger Shroff’s vehicle in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday, October 18. Bajpayee told news agency ANI that the situation was frightening and that a comprehensive investigation is essential. “I don’t see a gang war, but shots are being fired from who knows where, and that’s really scary,” he said, adding that the main relief was that Shroff emerged unharmed while his driver, Firdous, sustained injuries but is recovering.
The attack occurred in the evening when unidentified assailants allegedly opened fire at Shroff’s car before escaping on a motorcycle. The actor was not shot, but the driver and a bystander were taken to Nanavati Hospital. The Mumbai Crime Branch’s Anti‑Extortion Cell is leading the probe, with suspects already arrested and brought back to the city after fleeing through Gujarat and Rajasthan.
On October 21, a court remanded three accused to police custody until October 31 as investigators continued questioning them. The investigation has expanded beyond the alleged shooters, with Delhi Police’s Special Cell arresting individuals linked to an interstate weapons supply network and possible ties to an overseas syndicate associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Security concerns have risen after reports that the suspects may have scouted other high‑profile residences. As a precaution, heightened security has been deployed around Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. Tiger Shroff’s team has urged the public and media to refrain from speculation while authorities work to uncover the full circumstances of the attack.
