Alia Bhatt’s action‑thriller Alpha will make its World Television Premiere on Sony MAX on October 31 at 8 PM. The film, directed by Shiv Rawail, follows two women in the high‑stakes world of espionage, with Bhatt playing an assassin trained to kill. The cast also includes veteran actors Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles.
In a statement about the TV launch, Bhatt expressed excitement that the movie would reach a wider audience beyond its theatrical run. “With its television premiere on Sony MAX, Alpha gets to reach audiences in a whole new way,” she said. “We put a lot of thought and energy into the action, the characters and the emotional journey of the film, so it’s exciting to see that journey continue beyond the theatres and into people’s homes.”
Bhatt highlighted the festive season as an ideal time for family movie nights, adding that the broadcast offers both new viewers and returning fans a chance to experience the film together. “The festive season is a wonderful time for films to become part of family movie nights,” she noted. “For those who haven’t seen Alpha yet, this is their chance to experience it and for those who have, perhaps a reason to come back to it.”
Sharvari, who co‑stars in the film, shared her enthusiasm for the television debut. She said the project was a significant experience, especially because of its action sequences and emotional depth. “Alpha has been such an exciting and special journey for me, and seeing it now make its way to television feels incredibly rewarding,” she remarked. She added that watching the film at home could allow audiences to share its action and emotional moments with family.
Both actors expressed hope that the broadcast would resonate with first‑time viewers and those who had already seen the film in cinemas. “I hope audiences who are watching it for the first time have as much fun with the film as we did making it, and that those who’ve already seen it find something new to enjoy this time around,” Sharvari said. The film will air on Sony MAX on October 31 at 8 PM, bringing larger‑than‑life cinema into viewers’ living rooms during the holiday season.
