Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda Celebrate Saiyaara's First Anniversary at Wembley Stadium

In a celebration that echoed the film’s own emotional climax, Yash Raj Films marked the first anniversary of the romantic hit Saiyaara with the launch of a Collector’s Edition vinyl LP at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium. The event brought together star‑couple Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, who are affectionately known as “Ahneet” by fans, to revisit the very venue that played a pivotal role in the movie’s storyline.

Wembley was chosen deliberately, as the stadium is the backdrop for the film’s most memorable scene in which Krish Kapoor, played by Panday, finally spots Vaani Batra, portrayed by Padda, on the giant screen and later reunites with her during a concert. By returning to the same setting a year later, the anniversary ceremony gained an extra layer of meaning for both the cast and the audience.

During the launch, Panday and Padda shared photos on Instagram, captioning the images with, “1 Year of Saiyaara. Vaani & Krish at Wembley! I guess it was written in the stars 💫 Thank you for making a place for Saiyaara in your hearts... it means a lot to us… ❤️.” Their posts highlighted the personal connection the duo feels to the venue and the film’s enduring impact.

Director Mohit Suri, who helmed the film, emphasized the centrality of music to the story’s success. In a statement, he said, “Music is the soul of any love story – be it in life or in films. With Saiyaara, I felt that even more. The depth in Krish and Vaani’s relationship, the everlasting feeling, the innocence, and the magic wouldn’t be the same without the songs.” He added that the vinyl LP is not merely a collection of tracks but an invitation for fans to relive the movie’s emotions, melodies, and memories.

Yash Raj Films CEO Akshaye Widhani also spoke about the significance of the anniversary launch. He noted, “Saiyaara was a deeply personal film for us because it marked our return to romance, a genre that has always defined YRF and inspired some of our most sweeping love stories. We wanted to deliver not just a film but also a music album that is timeless in this genre.” Widhani thanked Suri for delivering a project that resonated with audiences worldwide, noting the film’s box‑office success of over ₹580 crore.

The vinyl edition, unveiled at Wembley, offers fans a tangible way to revisit the soundtrack that has become inseparable from the film’s narrative. With its release, Yash Raj Films has ensured that the magic of Saiyaara continues to play on, both on the silver screen and in the hearts of its audience.
