Gaurav Khanna & Shraddha Arya team up for new drama; Star Plus announces Dil Ki Bewafaiyaan

Star Plus has announced the title of its forthcoming serial, Dil Ki Bewafaiyaan, a romantic family drama that will bring actors Gaurav Khanna and Shraddha Arya together for the first time on screen. The show is being produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and is slated to launch toward the end of November, though the exact premiere date and time have not yet been disclosed by the channel.

The title reveal followed an earlier teaser in which Khanna and Arya were seen arriving at the Balaji Telefilms office, sparking speculation about their collaboration. The project marks Khanna’s return to daily television after his stint on Anupamaa, while Arya is making a comeback following her long‑running role on Kundali Bhagya. It also represents Arya’s second partnership with Balaji Telefilms, whereas Khanna will be working with Ekta Kapoor for the first time.

Ekta Kapoor expressed excitement about the pairing, saying, “Both have earned so much love from viewers, and I’ve wanted to see them share the screen for a long time. Now that it’s finally happening, I’m excited, nervous, and already imagining how audiences will react to them together!” She added that the new story will explore a love narrative after the conclusion of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2.0, and that she hopes to give viewers a fresh beginning that will resonate as deeply as her earlier shows.

Preparations for the series are reportedly underway. Khanna and Arya recently participated in a puja ahead of the project, and photos and videos from the ceremony have been circulating on social media. Filming has not yet started, but the set of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2.0 is reportedly being revamped for the new production.

Star Plus is expected to air Dil Ki Bewafaiyaan after Diwali, tentatively in the last week of November, and the show is being considered for the 9 p.m. slot. Final scheduling details are still pending from the channel.
