Himesh Reshammiya unveils 15 English tracks; hints Rihanna could be next

In a recent interview with Komal Nahta, Bollywood music maestro Himesh Reshammiya revealed that he has already written, sung and composed fifteen original tracks in English for an upcoming international album. He emphasized that the songs “don’t sound wannabe at all,” and that he plans to launch the project on a grand scale once his current film commitments finish.

Reshammiya, who has been featured on Bloomberg’s list of top pop stars worldwide, said the album will be released with the same impact he achieved in India. He added that the first single will make a “grand fashion” debut globally, targeting listeners of English music across the world.

When asked about a dream collaboration with an international artist, the composer singled out Rihanna, stating that one of his tracks is “absolutely right for Rihanna.” He expressed excitement about the possibility of working with the global superstar.

He also reflected on how his earlier hit “Aashiq Banaya Aapne” surprised audiences with its distinct sound, noting that the new English songs will similarly showcase a different, romantic vibe. Reshammiya remains optimistic that the album will resonate with a universal audience.
