Harleen Sethi has officially joined the cast of an upcoming, untitled Amazon Prime Video series that promises to deliver an “empire‑style” drama. The project also brings together Mirzapur stars Divyenndu Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee, along with Pratik Gandhi, and is being helmed by director Bhanu Pratap Singh, who has a track record with Dharma Productions.
According to a source close to the production, Sethi has already begun shooting. The insider praised the ensemble, noting that the addition of Sethi to a lineup that already includes Sharma, Banerjee, and Gandhi would create a compelling dynamic. The source added that audiences will enjoy seeing Sethi reprise a gripping role after her recent success in Netflix’s “Shaque: Trust No One.”
While the series’ storyline and character details remain under wraps, it is described as a drama that will explore power, ambition, and relationships within an empire‑like setting. Production is underway, but no release date has been announced yet.
Sharma and Banerjee recently reunited on “Mirzapur: The Movie,” a continuation of their work in the popular franchise, while Gandhi brings experience from projects such as Hansal Mehta’s “Gandhi” and “Madgaon Express 2.” Sethi’s other streaming credits include “Broken But Beautiful,” “Kohrra,” “Doctors,” “Bad Cop,” and “The Gone Game.”
Director Bhanu Pratap Singh, known for his association with Dharma Productions, is steering the project, which is expected to combine the talents of actors who have crossed over between films and streaming platforms. Fans of the ensemble can look forward to a high‑stakes narrative once the series is released.
