Shah Rukh Khan & Deepika Padukone’s ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’ Breaks 36M YouTube Record; 24‑hour Views Set New Benchmark

Shah Rukh Khan’s first single from his upcoming film King, “Tu Mil Jaaye,” dropped at midnight on November 2, aligning with the actor’s 61st birthday. Within the first 24 hours, the romantic track amassed over 60 million views across digital platforms, with YouTube alone reporting 36.3 million views and 430,000 likes.

The numbers, released by the makers, make “Tu Mil Jaaye” the most‑watched Indian movie song on YouTube in its debut day, eclipsing previous records held by “Zinda Banda” (34.6 million), “Gujju Pataka” (34 million), “Jai Shri Ram” (32.2 million) and “Ram Siya Ram” (32.1 million).

The track reunites Shah Rukh Khan with Deepika Padukone on screen. Sung by Arijit Singh and Madhubanti Bagchi, the music is composed by Sachin‑Jigar with lyrics by Kumaar, while Ed Sheeran is also credited as part of the artist lineup.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, the song offers a glimpse into the film’s world, blending romantic moments with action sequences and dialogue. King is slated for a theatrical release on December 24, 2026.
