Samay Raina's India's Got Latent 2; Surges Past Spy Thriller Dhurandhar as OTT's Most-Watched Title

In a surprising turn of events, Samay Raina’s reality show India’s Got Latent 2 has eclipsed the much‑anticipated spy thriller Dhurandhar to become the most‑watched original on Indian streaming platforms in 2026. The Ormax Media mid‑year report, released Friday, highlighted the show’s debut last month as the top‑ranked title, drawing an estimated 38.5 million viewers across the country.

Despite a strong theatrical run in December 2025 and a subsequent Netflix launch earlier this year, Aditya Dhar’s action‑packed Dhurandhar settled for fourth place on the list, attracting roughly 35.2 million viewers. The film’s sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, followed in sixth position with 27.8 million viewers. Other notable entries include Naseeruddin Shah and Jim Sarbh’s Made in India: A Titan Story (7th, 17.8 million viewers) and Prabhas’ horror‑comedy The Raja Saab, which, after a lukewarm box‑office performance, secured ninth place with 17.5 million viewers.

JioHotstar’s Chiraiya, starring Divya Dutta and Sanjay Mishra, captured the 10th spot with 16.3 million viewers, while Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web and Laughter Chefs Season 3 claimed 11th and 12th places respectively, with 14.2 million and 14.1 million viewers. Samay Raina’s stand‑up special Still Alive landed 15th with 13.1 million viewers, and Matka King followed at 18th with 12.1 million viewers.

The top 50 list also features a mix of genres: Bhoot Bangla (11.6 million), Subedaar (11.4 million), The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 4 (10.4 million), Gram Chikitsalay Season 2 (10.2 million), Aspirants Season 3 (9.7 million), Haq (9.6 million), De De Pyaar De 2 (9.5 million), Ab Hoga Hisaab (9.3 million), Inspector Avinash Season 2 (9.2 million), Raakh (9 million), Maamla Legal Hai Season 2 (8.7 million), Sankalp (8.6 million), Dridam (8.5 million), Border 2 (8.4 million), Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 (8.3 million), and Lock Upp (8.2 million).
