The much‑anticipated trailer launch of "Ramayana: Pratham Sankalp" unfolded in New Delhi on Saturday, turning into a memorable evening that blended a grand cinematic reveal with a surprise appearance by the film’s star, Yash. The event drew a star‑studded crowd, including producer Namit Malhotra, director Nitesh Tiwari, and a host of cast members such as Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Arun Govil, Sunny Deol, Ravie Dubey, Shobana, Rakul Preet Singh, Kunal Kapoor, Ajinkya Deo, and poet Kumar Vishwas.

Yash, who portrays Ravana and co‑produces the film, seized the moment to address the audience, describing the project as a shared dream aimed at placing India’s epic story on a global stage. He expressed gratitude to Malhotra for entrusting him with the role and thanked Tiwari for shaping his character, adding that he had finally had the chance to learn Hindi. Yash emphasized that the team had set aside personal interests to focus solely on telling Lord Sri Ram’s tale to worldwide viewers and celebrating the deity within India.

During his remarks, Yash singled out Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, praising Kapoor’s performance as Lord Ram and calling him “phenomenal.” He noted that Kapoor’s dedication would resonate with audiences across the country, while he lauded Sai Pallavi’s portrayal of Sita, highlighting her expressive eyes and the depth she brings to the role. Yash also acknowledged the courage and conviction of Malhotra in mounting such an ambitious project and credited Tiwari for guiding him through the nuances of Ravana.

The launch event served as the launchpad for the film’s international promotional tour. Following the Delhi premiere, the makers plan to showcase "Ramayana" at San Diego Comic-Con, marking the beginning of a global campaign that aims to bring India’s mythological heritage to a worldwide audience.
