The pair entered the house as wildcard contestants, sparking instant curiosity among viewers. Khan, visibly elated, shared that he has never been this close to Seema in years, crediting the show’s environment for bringing them together again.
During a conversation with host Zaid Darbar, Khan admitted, “Honestly speaking, I had never come this close to Seema in all these years the way this house has brought us closer. We’ve been talking to each other. Outside, we were both living our own separate lives.” He added that the children, who live with him, now visit Seema, and that the household has helped them maintain a civil relationship. “I care about her, she cares about me, and that’s really lovely,” he said.
When asked about the future, Khan expressed uncertainty but gratitude: “I don’t know when I’ll get to experience this again. I seriously thank the Alliance house because if I had been told beforehand, both of us might have been hesitant, thinking, ‘Can Sohail and I be in the same room? Will we be comfortable?’ But the only fear I had was that, God forbid, someone said something to Seema.” He concluded, “I want to spend more time with her. I want to protect her like a loved one.”
The episode also featured a flashback to the couple’s early romance. Khan recalled meeting Seema at a Delhi wedding, losing touch after her family opposed their relationship, and later reconnecting when Seema felt suffocated in her engagement. He noted that she stayed with cousins Chikki and Chunky Panday, after which he informed her family. Seema’s father initially questioned the marriage according to Hindu rituals, but after discussions with Khan’s father, the families met and the couple married within a week.
Although they divorced in 2022, the pair remain co‑parents to their two sons, Nirvaan and Yohan. The reunion on Alliance has reignited public interest in their story.
