Sheetal Menon reunites with Shah Rukh Khan after 15 years; in Sunfeast ad

After a 15‑year gap, actress Sheetal Menon reunited with Shah Rukh Khan for a Sunfeast advertisement, echoing their earlier collaboration in the 2010 hit My Name Is Khan. In the film, Menon played the lawyer Radha who helps secure the release of Rizwan Khan, a role that showcased her talent alongside the Bollywood superstar.

During the promotion of her second short film, Duet, Menon sat down with Bollywood Hungama to discuss the experience. She recalled the first time she walked onto the set of My Name Is Khan, where she met director Karan Johar and then saw Shah Rukh Khan arrive. “He was such a humble gentleman,” she said, noting how he greeted every actor on set.

Fast forward to the Sunfeast shoot, Menon described the same warmth and humility. “I was nervous and shaking,” she admitted. “The director introduced me to him and told him that I am his co‑actor. He got up, came to me and said ‘Hello’.” She praised his continued enthusiasm, even for a small ad, adding that “there is so much to learn from watching him up close.”

Menon also reflected on the emotional impact of working with the star again. “I was completely numb on the set. It took me two days to fully process the fact that I had worked with Shah Rukh Khan again,” she laughed. The reunion highlighted both actors’ enduring professionalism and the enduring appeal of their on‑screen chemistry.

In the same interview, Menon touched on her short film Duet, starring Sidhant Gupta and directed by herself, which became the first short film to release on Spotify. The discussion wrapped up with a nod to the ongoing buzz around Bollywood news, movies, and box‑office updates, as reported by Bollywood Hungama.
