Salman Khan advises Sohail Khan to move on; urges him to start dating again

In the most recent episode of the television series Alliance, viewers witnessed a heartfelt conversation between Bollywood stars Salman Khan and his brother Sohail Khan, in which the elder actor addressed Sohail’s divorce from actress Seema Sajdeh. The dialogue, teased in the show’s promotional material, saw Salman reflect on the end of Sohail’s marriage while urging his sibling to move forward in life.

Salman spoke candidly about the toxic nature of the relationship, referencing Seema’s own interviews where she described their partnership as “toxic.” He acknowledged that every couple faces disagreements, adding, “You are taking some blame on to you. I understand that you would not say that it was mutual. I saw some interviews (of Seema) saying as a couple it was toxic, we had fights and all… every couple has fights. It’s for you to stick in it or to leave.”

The actor went on to explain how the relationship deteriorated over time, despite Sohail’s efforts to salvage it. He noted that “the chapter is gone,” and expressed relief that things have returned to normal, while also recognizing the pain endured by both brothers and their children.

Salman also recalled the early days of Sohail and Seema’s romance, mentioning the moment Sohail called him to announce their impending marriage while Salman was filming Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. He urged his brother to start dating again, saying, “After breakup you would be sad for a couple of days and then move on. After 2-3 relationships, you met Seema… Start dating someone now, move on now.”

Sohail Khan and Seema Sajdeh were married in 1998 and remained together for over two decades before finalising their divorce in 2022. The former couple share two sons, Nirvaan and Yohan. The episode highlights the supportive bond between the brothers as they navigate personal challenges in the public eye.
