Comedian Harsh Gujral has turned his comedic timing into a survival instinct on the latest season of Khatron Ke Khiladi, where he survived a molten‑wax elimination challenge and has been praised for his fearless approach to the show’s adrenaline‑filled stunts. The 31‑year‑old, who first appeared on the first season of The Traitors, said the opportunity to step outside his usual comfort zone and test himself in Cape Town was a thrilling decision.
During a recent interview, Gujral explained that while heights and deep water have always made him uneasy, his biggest fear was not the stunt itself but the possibility of failing in front of the audience. “People are used to me making them laugh, but I didn’t want my stunt to become a joke,” he laughed, adding that the pressure to perform well was a constant companion throughout the competition.
Gujral revealed that he had prepared mentally and physically as much as possible, yet he admitted that once the challenge began, it was just him and the obstacle. He also emphasized that Khatron Ke Khiladi is a test of a different kind than stand‑up comedy, where words and personality give way to raw physical and mental endurance.
The season also saw the first elimination when Vishal Aditya Singh finished in the bottom three, alongside Ruhaanika Dhawan and Rubina Dilaik. The trio faced a snake‑laden stunt that required calmness and accurate answers to survive.
With a mix of returning contestants and newcomers, the show’s lineup includes popular faces such as Rubina Dilaik, Karan Wahi, Rithvik Dhanjani and Jasm, offering viewers a varied and exciting mix of personalities and challenges.
