On the evening of Sunday, October 18, Bollywood star Tiger Shroff was allegedly targeted by a shooting incident near Pushpa Narsee Park in Juhu, Mumbai. Sources say that a motorcycle‑riding assailant fired multiple rounds at Shroff’s vehicle as he was returning from a football session, but the actor escaped direct harm.
In a statement to the press on Monday, October 19, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis confirmed that the Mumbai Police have identified the suspects involved in the attack. He said investigative agencies have secured leads and are coordinating with authorities in other states and the Central Government to locate those who allegedly carried out the shooting.
Fadnavis described the incident as “very serious and condemnable,” adding that the police are treating it with the utmost seriousness. He highlighted that specific individuals have already been identified and will be arrested soon, while the masterminds behind the plot, who are believed to be operating from outside Maharashtra or even abroad, will also be tracked down.
The Chief Minister stressed that any perpetrators operating within Maharashtra have already been apprehended. He pledged to work with other states and the central government to bring those hiding abroad to justice, calling the attackers “cowardly” and assuring that their efforts would be thwarted.
The shooting incident has prompted a swift response from law enforcement, with the Mumbai Police reportedly following up on clues and coordinating across jurisdictions to ensure that the accused are brought to account.
