Tiger Shroff shot in Juhu; video shows cuts and bruises

On the evening of Sunday, October 18, Bollywood star Tiger Shroff was the target of a gun attack outside a sports facility in Mumbai’s Juhu neighbourhood. Motorcycle‑borne assailants opened fire at Shroff’s vehicle around 7 pm, striking the car and shattering its glass. While the actor escaped direct bullet wounds, the incident left him with visible cuts, abrasions and bruises on his arms and back, footage of which his team released on their official social media account a few days later.

The video, posted by Shroff’s representatives, shows the physical impact of the attack and underscores the severity of the shooting. The driver, Firdous, and a passer‑by were also injured and taken to Nanavati Hospital; the driver remains under medical observation as he recovers. Shroff himself has reportedly avoided fatal injuries and has expressed gratitude for the police response, urging the public not to circulate unverified claims while the investigation continues.

Investigations into the incident are being conducted by the Mumbai Crime Branch in collaboration with other law‑enforcement agencies. By October 23, a total of ten arrests had been made across several states. Three key suspects—Rehan Ansari, Phool Singh and Ritik Mahtoo—were apprehended in Kota, Rajasthan, after allegedly attempting to flee toward the Nepal border. They were transported to Mumbai and remanded to police custody by a Mumbai court on October 21, with a remand period until October 31.

Authorities are probing an alleged interstate weapons network and potential links between the attackers and individuals suspected of assisting them. The inquiry is focusing on the planning of the attack, the movement of weapons, and the possibility of a wider conspiracy. An unverified social‑media claim has linked the shooting to the Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate, but this allegation has not been substantiated.

The shooting has reignited scrutiny over security arrangements for prominent Bollywood personalities. Shroff’s team has called for calm and cautioned against spreading unverified information as the investigation proceeds.
