Cinema VinesIn Mumbai, the final day of filming for Kartik Aaryan’s upcoming film Naagzilla wrapped on Sunday, July 26, bringing an end to a hectic but exhilarating shoot that had seen most of the production completed earlier this year. The wrap was marked by a celebratory cake bearing the words “Naagzilla Film Wrap,” which was shared by the crew and the director’s team, according to a source who spoke to Bollywood Hungama.
The ceremony was attended by director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, writer Gautam Mehra, co‑producer Divyansh Jain, and actor Ravi Kishan, who had also celebrated Lamba’s birthday the day before. The group expressed their joy and gratitude for the journey, noting that the film’s production had been a “fun‑filled and memorable” experience for everyone involved.
Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and co‑producer Mahaveer Jain took the opportunity to praise Dharma Productions for its partnership, saying, “Dharma is the best company to partner with. Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Marijke DeSouza, Azeem Dayani and their entire team are simply the best. Also, we are thankful to each and every crew member of Naagzilla. Everyone has worked really hard to execute this grand vision.” The duo also highlighted the film’s quirky world, outrageous comedy, solid casting and chart‑buster soundtrack as key elements that will attract audiences.
While lead actor Kartik Aaryan, who recently earned his first National Award, was not present on set—having finished his scenes earlier in the year—the film’s post‑production phase is now underway. Lamba and his team are focusing on editing and visual effects as the movie prepares for its theatrical release on February 12, 2027. Produced jointly by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Mahaveer Jain’s Mahaveer Jain Films, Naagzilla promises to deliver a “crazy world” packed with humor and spectacle.
