Kotwal brings more than 18 years of experience in the talent management industry, having spent over a decade at Matrix, one of India’s leading talent agencies. During her tenure at Matrix, she worked closely with high‑profile artists such as Vicky Kaushal, Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar and Triptii Dimri, helping to shape their careers and earning the trust of both talent and industry leaders.
CEO Akshaye Widhani welcomed Kotwal to the YRF team, stating that YRF Talent is dedicated to building an agency that champions artists with a long‑term vision, strong partnerships and thoughtful career strategy. He added that Kotwal’s experience, strategic thinking and commitment to talent make her a valuable addition to the leadership team, and expressed confidence in the impact she will have as the business continues to grow.
In her new role, Kotwal will oversee the management and strategic direction of YRF Talent’s roster, which includes prominent actors such as Rani Mukerji, Ayushmann Khurrana, Sonam Kapoor, Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda, Sharvari, Vaani Kapoor and Shreya Chaudhry. Her appointment is part of Yash Raj Films’ broader effort to strengthen its talent management capabilities and support artists in navigating their careers.
The announcement comes as Yash Raj Films expands its entertainment portfolio, recently launching Raah Records and signing its first artist, Aman, for the film “Jaadugari.” Kotwal’s arrival is expected to further solidify YRF Talent’s position as a leading agency in Bollywood, offering strategic guidance and long‑term partnership to its artists.
