Shah Rukh Khan Regains Top Spot; Brand Value Jumps 47% in Two Years

Shah Rukh Khan has reclaimed the summit of India’s celebrity brand rankings, according to Kroll’s 2025 Celebrity Brand Valuation Report. The Bollywood icon’s brand is now valued at US$177.9 million, eclipsing sports star Virat Kohli and marking a 47 % jump in just two years.

The report places the top 25 Indian celebrities at a collective worth of US$2 billion. Khan moved from third place in 2024—where his brand was US$145.7 million—to first in 2025. His year‑on‑year growth was 22 %, rising from US$145.7 million to US$177.9 million, while the two‑year climb from US$120.7 million in 2023 totals a 47 % increase.

Recent endorsements have fueled the surge. In March 2024 he signed with Castrol, followed by Joy Personal Care and Candere in May 2025. Long‑standing deals with Hyundai, LG, Myntra and Airbnb continue to reinforce his presence across automotive, electronics, fashion, travel and lifestyle sectors.

Professionally, Khan is preparing for “King,” one of the most anticipated Indian films in development. The actor’s expanding portfolio and sustained media visibility have helped him dominate the brand value landscape.

Umakanta Panigrahi, Managing Director of Valuation Advisory Services at Kroll, explained that modern celebrity brand value now reflects more than traditional endorsements. “The 2025 rankings show that digital relevance, social media engagement and emerging AI‑led opportunities, alongside classic deals, are shaping the next wave of celebrity brands,” he said.
