After the critical success of Kumbalangi Nights, director Madhu C Narayanan is set to return to the screen with a new feature that began shooting in Kochi on August 6, 2026. The film, still untitled, entered principal photography in a ceremony attended by the full cast and crew, marking the official launch of the project.
Madhu’s latest venture is a collaboration with actor Naslen, who leads an ensemble that includes Soubin Shahir, Baby Jean, Chandhu Salimkumar, Poornima Indrajith, Haniya, Franco, Anoop Mohandas, and Alister. The film’s cinematography will be handled by Karthik Vijay, while further technical details are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Production is overseen by Dr. Ananthu under the banner of Ananthu Entertainments, in partnership with Madhu C Narayanan’s Silent Cat Films. This is the fourth film currently in production for Ananthu Entertainments, which is also backing the high‑profile releases Athiradi and 40 Days of House Party, the latter directed by Shifina Babin Pakkar.
Publicity and marketing for the new film are being managed by Vaishakh C Vadakkeveedu and Jinu Anilkumar, with Athira Diljith serving as the public relations officer. The project’s launch in Kochi signals a fresh chapter for Madhu C Narayanan, who continues to build on his reputation for crafting engaging, character‑driven stories.
