Nani's The Paradise Teaser Released; Fights Against Feudalism

On Thursday, director Srikanth Odela unveiled the first teaser for his upcoming Telugu action drama, The Paradise, giving fans a taste of the film’s gritty, rebellion‑driven storyline. The 1 minute 42 second promo opens with Nani’s character, Jadal, rallying a crowd with the chant, “From this moment, whose land is this? Whose country is this?” The scene sets up a conflict between Jadal and the feudal lord Shikanja Maalik, played by Mohan Babu, and his son Vikram Maalik, portrayed by Raghav Juyal. The teaser hints at Jadal’s fight for the rights of the downtrodden, with a powerful visual of him standing atop a mountain of bodies, covered in blood and clutching a garland of blades.

The film’s release date has been pushed back multiple times. Originally slated for March 26, it was rescheduled to August 21 and now the new date is September 24. The postponements have left fans eager to see how the story unfolds, especially after the teaser’s intense imagery and the promise of a strong anti‑feudal narrative.

Srikanth Odela, who previously teamed up with Nani on the 2023 hit Dasara, brings his signature rustic drama style to The Paradise. The project also stars Mohan Babu, Raghav Juyal, Kayadu Lohar, and Keerthy Suresh, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Production is handled by Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas, with co‑producer Ishan Saksena.

Social media buzz around the teaser has been mixed. Some fans praised the visual intensity, calling it “goosebumps” and noting the clarity of the message, while others critiqued the music and the dubbed Hindi version’s voice work. One comment read, “The teaser is good but the music isn’t giving that high,” and another questioned whether the film would focus solely on mass appeal. Despite the varied reactions, the anticipation for the September 24 release remains high.
