Tara Sharma quits London consulting for Bollywood fame; replaces Katrina Kaif in 2003 hit

Tara Sharma left a lucrative consulting role at Accenture in London after earning an LSE degree to pursue acting in Mumbai. She debuted in Om Jai Jagadish (2002) and later replaced Katrina Kaif in Anurag Basu’s Saaya (2003). Her breakthrough came with the comedy Masti (2004), before shifting to character roles.
