The production credits displayed on the clapboard include producer Shobha Kapoor, co‑producers Amar Talwar and Kumar Taurani, director Shashanka Ghosh, and cinematographer Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti. These details signal that the project is now moving forward under the guidance of Ghosh, who has taken over from the original director Sahir Raza, who remains creatively attached to the film.
Since its early development, Ragini 3 has faced several hurdles. Initially, the role of the lead was rumored to go to Nora Fatehi, who later exited the project in September 2025 due to scheduling conflicts, including an international shoot in Los Angeles. The film was also temporarily put on hold when director Sahir Raza stepped away because of his own schedule.
