Internationally, The Odyssey opened with $51 million in North America across 3,919 screens, and has already amassed $257.8 million worldwide. This surpasses Nolan’s previous high‑grossing debuts such as The Dark Knight Rises ($249 million) and Oppenheimer ($180 million).

The film stars Matt Damon as Odysseus, with Tom Holland playing his son Telemachus, and Anne Hathaway as Penelope. Supporting roles include Robert Pattinson as Antinous, Charlize Theron as Calypso, Lupita Nyong’o, Zendaya, Jon Bernthal, Himesh Patel, John Leguizamo, and Mia Goth.
