Cinema VinesSalman Khan, the Bollywood superstar whose every move is tracked by cameras, has found a quiet refuge at his farmhouse in Panvel. The actor has repeatedly mentioned the retreat in interviews and social media, describing it as a place where he can escape the relentless media glare. In a recent Instagram post, he even gave a shout‑out to his upcoming film, Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace, hinting at the project’s release.
Speaking to Lallantop Cinema, Aayush Sharma, the actor’s brother‑in‑law, shed light on the off‑screen personality of the star. Aayush recounted a running joke in the Khan household: when Salman invites someone to the farmhouse, everyone exclaims, “Let’s go to the farm.” He added that only those who actually receive an invitation get to go, and that the real fun begins once the invitation is accepted. According to Aayush, guests are free to visit Salman at the farmhouse, but they can only leave when the actor decides it’s time to return. “Bhai spends most of his time at the farmhouse. You go to the farmhouse with your own wish, but you leave only when he wishes,” he explained.
In recent weeks, fans were alarmed by a public appearance that raised concerns about the actor’s health. Salman visited the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) office to inaugurate a new Data Collection and Verification Support Centre, wearing a cap, a casual shirt and denim jeans. The images of his subdued demeanor prompted speculation that he might be unwell. However, the actor refuted these claims on Instagram, posting a series of monochrome photos of himself in a denim jacket and a cowboy hat, and captioning them, “Aap logon ki tabiyat kaisi hai” (How is everyone's health?).
Looking ahead, Salman’s next film, Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, has faced multiple delays but remains a highly anticipated project. Produced under Salman Khan Films, the movie also stars Chitrangada Singh in a pivotal role. Fans can expect the star to return to the silver screen soon, bringing his signature charisma to the big screen once again.
