Thalapathy Vijay's Jana Nayagan has taken the theatres by storm in the South, crossing the 50 cr mark in its opening weekend. The film, released on July 23, has seen a positive box office performance with a net collection of ₹42.70 Cr on day 1. The movie has managed to add around ₹10.50 Cr (net) on day 2, taking the total nett figures to around ₹53.20 Cr.
