Waheeda Rehman lights up New Zealand’s first Indian film festival; Teesri Kasam opens the show

Waheeda Rehman will grace the opening night of the inaugural Indian Film Festival of New Zealand, where the 2024 event will span three cities and feature 30 screenings across 11 languages. The festival opens with the restored classic Teesri Kasam, starring Rehman and Raj Kapoor, and closes with Pakeezah, a 1972 icon also restored for New Zealand audiences.
