YEONJUN's No Labels 02 Breaks Sales Records; Highest-Selling Soloist of 2026

On July 10, 2026, TXT’s lead vocalist Yeonjun released his second solo mini‑album, No Labels: Part 02, and the record shattered expectations by selling 738,072 copies in its opening week. The achievement made Yeonjun the highest‑selling solo artist of the year, eclipsing the first‑week sales of his debut solo project, No Labels: Part 01, which debuted in November 2025.

The album’s lead single, “Ice Cream,” combines funk‑rock beats with a polished choreography that has become a cultural touchstone, reportedly boosting ice‑cream sales across South Korea. Yeonjun explained that his creative freedom as a soloist allows him to experiment with diverse genres—rap rock, funk, R&B, pop, and alternative hip‑hop—while staying true to his personal style.

During an interview with HT City, Yeonjun reflected on the pressure of his first solo outing, saying, “Compared to when I was preparing for PART 01, I feel like I’ve been able to let go of some pressure and approach things more comfortably. I realized that I show my best on stage when I’m not holding onto that pressure too tightly.” He added that the excitement of re‑meeting his fandom, MOA, now outweighs his nerves.

Across the six tracks, Yeonjun was deeply involved in songwriting, composition, and choreography. He noted that the title track’s dance was a personal project, and that on “Long Way Long Ride” he incorporated his own name into the lyrics to make the song more autobiographical. He described the No Labels series as an “untethered expression of myself,” aiming to showcase his growth as an artist.

As one of the first members of the popular quintet Tomorrow X Together to pursue a solo career while maintaining group activities, Yeonjun has earned a reputation for versatility. He believes that solo work grants him the freedom to reflect his tastes more directly, resulting in music that feels “honest” and “natural.” He said, “I think what defines me the most is honesty. For this album, I tried to show a more natural side of myself, whether through the visuals or performance.”

Yeonjun also highlighted the importance of the bond between K‑pop artists and their fans. He believes that the global success of K‑pop stems from the ability to communicate with fans no matter where they are, and that this connection fuels his own artistic drive.
