Cinema VinesStudent of the Year 2 star Aditya Seal and his wife Anushka Ranjan have announced that they are now parents, welcoming a pair of twin baby girls. The couple shared the joyous news on social media on August 23, 2026, and revealed the girls’ names as Vira Ranjan Seal and Mahi Ranjan Seal.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Seal wrote, “My sunshines are here to brighten our lives ♥️♥️ Our hearts are full of love and gratitude. Vira ♾️ Mahi #TeamGirl ♥️♥️.” The announcement was accompanied by an adorable card featuring illustrations of the two little girls, underscoring the couple’s excitement and gratitude.
Anushka had previously announced her pregnancy earlier in the year with a series of maternity photos. She and Seal had discussed the pregnancy with HT City in May 2026, explaining that they chose to wait until September to share the news so they could enjoy the moment privately before announcing it publicly.
Seal and Ranjan have also been open about the challenges they faced on their path to parenthood. Anushka disclosed on their YouTube channel that she underwent a difficult IVF journey, receiving around 150 injections. She recounted the pain and fear she felt during the process and how her husband supported her throughout.
The couple had been considering starting a family since 2023, encouraged by Anushka’s sister Akansha Ranjan to seek professional advice. Anushka explained that natural conception chances are only about 15% per cycle, which prompted her to pursue IVF.
