Arshad Warsi Starrer Jeevan Bheema Yojana to Release on August 28

Arshad Warsi will take on a double role for the first time in his career in the upcoming dark‑comedy crime thriller “Jeevan Bheema Yojana,” which is set to hit cinemas worldwide on 28 August 2026. The film, directed by Abhishek Dogra, follows the intertwined lives of two look‑alikes: Jeevan, a debt‑ridden common man, and Bheema, a dangerous doppelgänger. Their paths collide in a series of chaotic events that drive the plot forward.

In addition to Warsi, the cast includes Sanjeeda Shaikh as Yojana, a resourceful wife who concocts an ambitious fraud, and Vijay Raaz as Vinayak, a mysterious figure whose secrets gradually unfold. The film also features Pooja Chopra, Bijendra Kala, and the late Atul Parchure in pivotal roles, adding depth to the ensemble.

Dogra described the movie as “a film about ordinary people making one extraordinary, catastrophic decision — and then spending the rest of the film paying for it.” He added that while the genre is dark comedy, the core themes are human: greed, desperation, love, and the relentless momentum of a lie that can’t be stopped. “Arshad brings both men to life with a precision that constantly surprised us on set,” Dogra said.

Raman Raheja, Director of StarBeam Ventures Ltd and co‑producer, highlighted the project’s significance for the company, noting that it is the first of several releases planned over the next 6 to 12 months. He praised Warsi’s dual performance, saying, “Audiences will love it.” StarBeam Ventures, formerly Blue God Entertainment Ltd, is presenting and producing the film.

The release of “Jeevan Bheema Yojana” adds to Arshad Warsi’s growing slate of projects, showcasing his versatility in a narrative that blends crime, dark humour, and family drama. Fans can expect a story that explores how a single decision can trigger an increasingly complicated chain of events, all delivered with the actor’s trademark precision and the director’s sharp wit.
