Rajkummar Rao Starrer Srikanth Wins Best Hindi Feature Film at 72nd National Film Awards

At the National Media Centre in New Delhi, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting announced the winners of the 72nd National Film Awards on Friday. The ceremony recognised the biographical drama Srikanth – Aa Raha Hai Sabki Aankhein Kholne as the Best Hindi Feature Film, a title that celebrates the life of visually impaired entrepreneur Srikanth Bolla.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani under T‑Series Films and Chalk N Cheese Films Production LLP, the film was directed by Tushar Hiranandani. It stars Rajkummar Rao in the lead role, with Jyotika and Alaya F delivering pivotal supporting performances. The story follows Bolla’s journey from adversity to becoming the founder of Bollant Industries.

Bhushan Kumar, the head of T‑Series, expressed his gratitude for the honour: “Srikanth is a story that deserved to be told, and we are deeply honoured that it has been recognised with India’s highest cinematic honour. This award belongs to the entire team who believed in the vision of bringing Srikanth Bolla’s incredible journey to audiences with honesty and heart.
