Aamir Khan Allegedly Receives Death Threat from Lawrence Bishnoi Gang

Bollywood star Aamir Khan has reportedly been targeted by a death threat that police say may come from the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The alleged warning was circulated on social media and in a voice note, both of which are currently under scrutiny by the Mumbai Police’s cyber unit. Khan’s team has not yet filed an official complaint, and investigators are still verifying whether the Facebook post and audio clip are authentic or linked to the gang.

The threat surfaced after a post on Facebook, attributed to Arzu Bishnoi and Tyson Bishnoi—associates of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi—accused Khan of “promoting love jihad” following his third marriage. The message warned that anyone who “promotes such disgraceful acts” would face retaliation, adding that the gang would silence those who use stardom to encourage such behaviour. It also referenced a separate incident involving the alleged kidnapping, trafficking and sexual assault of a 13‑year‑old girl in Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar, praising the administration for its swift action while threatening political leaders who were said to be protecting the accused.

In the post, the gang paid tribute to two individuals it called “martyred brothers, Parvesh and Himanshu,” vowing that their sacrifice would not be forgotten and that their enemies would receive a fitting response. The gang’s history of intimidation dates back to the 1998 blackbuck hunting case in Jodhpur, which is tied to the filming of “Hum Saath Saath Hain,” and it has repeatedly issued threats against Bollywood personalities, most notably Salman Khan.

News18 Hindi reported that the Mumbai Police and its cyber cell began investigating after the post and audio clip began circulating online. The police are checking the authenticity of the Facebook account and the voice note, and any legal action will depend on the outcome of this verification process and whether Khan decides to formally approach the authorities.
