CBFC clears Drishyam The Conclusion without cuts; film runs 8 minutes longer than Drishyam 2

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has once again surprised industry insiders by granting a clean pass to the upcoming sequel in the Drishyam franchise, “Drishyam The Conclusion,” without demanding any cuts or alterations. According to exclusive reports from Bollywood Hungama, the film received a U/A 16+ certificate on September 28, a decision that came after the CBFC’s recent approval of the Sidharth Malhotra‑Tamannaah Bhatia starrer “The Vvaan” without any edits.

Unlike many other releases that require the inclusion of title credits in the film’s original language, an anti‑drug ticker, or a brief advertisement during the intermission, “Drishyam The Conclusion” was granted a clean certificate with no such requests. The film’s runtime is listed as 150 minutes, or 2 hours and 30 minutes, making it the second‑longest installment in the Drishyam saga after the original 2015 film’s 162‑minute cut.

The movie features a star‑studded ensemble led by Ajay Devgn, with Tabu, Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat, Prakash Raj, Rajat Kapoor, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, and Kamlesh Sawant in key roles. Directed by Abhishek Pathak and produced by Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Pathak himself, the film is set to hit theatres on October 2.

In addition to the certification news, PVR Inox has announced a promotional offer: purchase four tickets for “Drishyam The Conclusion” and receive free Pav Bhaji. Fans of the series can look forward to a full, uninterrupted viewing experience as the film opens across multiplexes nationwide.
