Yash Takes Charge of Ramayana’s Karnataka Release; Monster Mind Creations Opens Distribution Wing

Yash, who has already taken on the role of Ravana in the upcoming epic Ramayana, is stepping into a larger arena by expanding his production banner, Monster Mind Creations, into theatrical distribution. The Karnataka‑based actor’s company will now oversee the film’s release across the state, marking the first time the banner will handle large‑scale theatrical distribution in addition to its production duties.

The decision comes as Monster Mind Creations partners with a network of established distributors for Ramayana’s worldwide rollout. While Sony Pictures will manage international markets, Dharma Productions will handle Hindi‑speaking regions in North India, and Telugu producer Dil Raju will cover Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Think Studios will distribute in Tamil Nadu, and E4 Entertainment, led by Mukesh Mehta, will take charge of Kerala. With Monster Mind Creations now responsible for Karnataka, the film’s release strategy is set to be tightly coordinated across all territories.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, known for Dangal and Chhichhore, Ramayana is a two‑part cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic. The cast features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, and Yash himself as Ravana. The project brings together talent from multiple film industries and is being produced jointly by Prime Focus Studios and Monster Mind Creations.

Ramayana: Part 1 is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 5 November 2026, with the film to be screened in multiple languages and premium large formats. By placing Monster Mind Creations at the center of the Karnataka distribution strategy, Yash aims to leverage his substantial fan base in the state and across India to drive the film’s success at the box office.
